Drawing - Hospital Stay Her senior year, our eldest daughter, Lydiann, was in a car accident. Part of her back was rebuilt with titanium, and she sustained a head injury. She couldn't stand light in the room and yet wanted me there at all times. Although working in the dark, drawing helped me to come to grips with the situation as she recuperated. She has made a full recovery and has evolved into an independent, strong, and compassionate adult. The therapeutic qualities of the drawing process are beneficial to many of us, and have personally brought me great comfort.
